The Vineyard has come a long way since its inception in 2012, when it had a staff team of just three. Now, we have 16 members of staff and over 140 volunteers who generously give up their time and resources across Richmond borough.
We have been truly blessed with the support of the community through helping hands, gifts in kind, and financial contributions over the last decade. Without their input, we could not have sustained our work, particularly during Covid times when restrictions were in place and record numbers of people could not collect food parcels.
We have served thousands of families and individuals in their darkest hour. Whether that be through hands-on help at our crisis services, support from our specialist support workers, referrals, support with the transition off the streets in to a place to call home, or providing emergency food for families in complex crisis.
Unfortunately, the demand for crisis support services will only continue to rise as the UK now faces a worsening cost-of-living crisis and an increase of refugees in need of support. With ever more people expected to seek our services, we continue to be dependent on your support and generosity to maintain our work. As we celebrate our ten-year anniversary and look back on all that has been achieved in this time, we are appealing to our community to donate via the forms below.
-
£30: the cost of a sleeping bag for a homeless person
-
£40: the cost of 50 cooked breakfasts for our homeless guests
-
£100: the cost of one of our weekly nursing clinic to support our homeless guests
-
£500: the cost to support a guest off the streets into sustainable stable living
