donate items

As a charity, we are heavily dependent upon the generosity of our local community to help us on our mission to provide help in crisis and hope for life!

If you would like to support our Foodbank by donating food items, you can find our most needed items here, as well as a list of locations and times where donations are accepted.

We kindly ask that you ensure that all food items donated are within their use-by date, are unopened and are not damaged.

As part of our emergency food parcels, we provide long-life food items and toiletries designed to last for 3 days. Any items that fall into these categories and that are within their use-by date are welcome.

Example items to donate:

  • tinned meat, fish and veg

  • rice and pasta

  • tea and coffee

  • toiletries such as soap, shampoo, body wash, pads

  • long-life milk and juice

  • spreads, e.g. jam, peanut butter, marmite, marmalade

  • cereals and porridge

Donations are always welcome at Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond (TW10 6AQ) between 9am-3pm, Monday - Friday. You may need to buzz at the gate for entry.

Got some clothing you’d like to donate? As part of our Crisis Drop-In Service, we offer free clothing to those in need. In particular, we are always in need of new men’s socks and boxers, as these are distributed often after guests have their showers.

We will also happily accept more general pre-loved clothing, which we will either distribute directly to those in need, or sell in our charity shops to help fundraise for our charity services. Please help us by ensuring that all donated clothing is in good condition, i.e. not stained, no holes or missing buttons, etc.

Example items to donate:

  • t-shirts and tops

  • jeans

  • tracksuit bottoms

  • jumpers and cardigans

  • hats, scarves, gloves, belts

  • shoes and trainers.

Please drop all clothing donations to either charity shop location, details available here.
